My ego never felt smaller than just the other night. I’ve seen plenty of celebrities in LA but nothing like what I’m about to tell you. I was eating sushi  and in walked soccer star David Beckham. It was crowded with other celebs, models, and yoga teachers. Beckham chose a seat just to my left. Holy s—t! I was right next to David Beckham at the sushi bar. I didn’t know what to say to him. These are the different approaches I considered:

1. Hip/Hop
“What up dawg?! The spider roll is dope…”

2. Sports fan
“Soccer is for pansies. I’m glad you’re giving baseball a try.”

3. Macho
“Don’t turn around but I think the girls looking over here are checking me out.”

4. Yeah Dave
“Do you believe in aliens?”

5. Scholar
“So have you read any Pele?”

6. Effeminate
“How do you like my hair?”

7. Nerd
“The Spice Girls Rock!”

8. Hopeless Romantic
“Da Bears!”

9. Dummie
“Aren’t you in the band Weezer?”

10. Drunk Redneck
“Yo Beckham I got somethin’ for you to bend!”
