This is part 4 in a series shedding light on the sensory cravings of leaders in our culture.

Who: Angela Samuels
Angela Samuels is a home cook and author of the witty, informative and delicious blog, NewFoodTuesdayz.
Sight: In my mind, the most beautiful things are pure, raw and natural. I could spend all day every day staring at waves breaking in paradise.

Sound: Jack Johnson’s Angel makes my heart flutter every time I hear it. It makes me giddy at the idea that a man could think such wonderful things about a woman.
Taste: Dishes that remind me that simple food can be fabulous are my absolute favorite. This is my go to when cooking at home for family or recommending recipes to others.

Scent: This might offend some, but my absolute favorite smell is garlic. It makes me think of cooking and big dinners with family and friends. There is no such thing as too much garlic.

Touch: I’m definitely no David Romanelli, but I am an avid yoga student. My absolute favorite feelings is when I graze my hands down my shins into forward fold when I am wearing the Lululemon Diversity Wunder Under Crop pants. They are so soft it makes me forget that I’m sweating and trembling.

MOMENTEERING!
I’m hard at work in putting together my little plan on how to save the world.
The Manifesto: Restore value to the little moments in your day
–When enjoying the morning…instead of reaching for the phone, reach for your kid.
–When taking in a beautiful summer night…instead of a video, take a breath.
–When eating dinner… instead of TV, how about a some good ol fashioned conversation.
Are you feelin it? I struggle with it too. So let’s push each other! We can do better…
