What about these photos makes them special? “Our wedding took place on the 2nd year anniversary of Bruce’s release from prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Then we got married again (by my son, this time!) at Burning Man - the home of radical free expression! Something Bruce wasn’t able to experience for a very long time (26 years). We didn’t really plan the Burning Man wedding - it just all fell into place and our friends decorated and dressed up and we all celebrated. It was spontaneous and dizzyingly cinematic. Then a professional photographer happened to pass on his bicycle, Garry McManus - and took the extraordinary shot.”
