What about this photo makes it special? “I have to admit that sometimes I get a little irritated when mom calls because she keeps me on the phone forever. I decided to go with the moment and answer it even though I have a yoga class in 20 minutes. She said that today at the doctor, they had to do something to her foot, and it is tender to walk on right now. For the first time in 20 years, today I got to ask my mother “Do you need me to bring you anything?” SO COOL because I actually can bring her groceries now…I am not sure I would have given that moment a chance 6 months ago.
My husband and I take care of grandma (get her prescriptions, grocery shop, change light bulbs), and now that mom is back, she is going over there with us too! So cool! Three generations here!”
