It’s so rare that we humans make an effort to connect with the random characters in the background of our lives. Try the following with a any old stranger you come across today, whether a bank teller or a barista:
–pay them a compliment
–take an interest, a true interest, in how they’re doing today
–try to calm someone in distress
As stated by the above quote or more powerfully in the sacred text the Bhagavad Gita, most human beings are waging war on their demons every single day. Some are winning, many are losing, and there’s nothing like a random stranger (could be you) wandering into the battlefield screaming for a truce.
