If you could go back in time and carry a message to people of a past era, what it would be?
Of course there are the easy messages like “Buy stock in Apple Computer” or “Bet big on the Cardinals to win the 2011 World Series,” but this isn’t about getting rich.
This is about your legacy. You will be forever famous for the message you convey. You will be The Legendary Time Traveler.
Would you tell people “Don’t waste life worrying” or “Enjoy the time with the people you love most, they don’t last forever”?
What would you say? I challenge you to take a moment to think about this and share with me what you’d convey…
It’s a great exercise in pondering your legacy which is best summarized by an anoymous genius who said, “I may be here for a shortwhile, gone tomorrow into oblivion or until the days come to take me away. But, in whatever part you play, be remembered as part of a legacy…of sharing dreams and changing humanity for the better. It’s that legacy that never dies.”
