What about this photo makes it special? “After I picked the zucchini from my garden I wanted to post a picture showing how humongous these were, and figured putting them next to Penelope would be a pretty good gauge. The look on her face is actually the best part. You know that, “really?, you’re taking a picture on me with all that zucchini? The other two dogs were just observing, hoping it was a giant treat or something. Besides, they’re cocker spaniels, that doesn’t rhyme with zucchini. I know she puts a smile on my face every time I look at her, so I wanted to share the moment with everyone. and the fact that, yes, things actually do grow in a garden in the desert.”
How do you live in the moment? “I guess I live in the moment by keeping life simple and not trying to rush through it. Never take anything or anyone for granted, in the blink of an eye it could be gone. It seems to me it takes so much energy to be miserable, and such a small effort to be content. One of my favorite quotes is, “dance as if no one were watching, sing as if no one were listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.”"
