Secret of Love

The wisest people to have walked the face of the earth have all shared that true love and supreme power exist at the subtle level of vibration.

We all remember this to be true when we have those rare and encounters with High Vibration People, those who can dramatically effect us with the symbolic flick of the proverbial wand.

High Vibration People are not necessarily high profile people.

This morning I had a High Vibration Moment in a conversation with a woman from St. Kitts who makes a very modest living as a housekeeper in New York City.

We were talking about parents and how her mother died a few years ago.

I asked if she cried, not sure why. I always ask people if they cry when something sad happens.

She said in her poetic french Caribbean accent, “When people’s parents die, I don’t understand why they cry. If you love them as best you can while they are here, their death should be a celebration.”

Some subtle shift ensued and what was an annoying morning shifted into a glorious one.

What a sweet reminder…

While it’s so grueling to figure out how we can work smarter or stay trimmer, the notion of loving more is the easiest, most immediate, and profound adjustment we can ever make.

That is the secret of high vibration people. They understand what David Hawkins, author of Power vs Force, summarizes so clearly, “Love is misunderstood to be an emotion, when actually it is a state of awareness.”

This Valentine’s Day, when the Cupid cards and heart shaped candies trigger thoughts of unfulfilled romantic dreams…

…remember that until you embody a loving state of awareness, George freakin Clooney or Angelina Jolie could fall for you, and you might lust, but it will be impossible to love.
